Spectator Info Oregon June 19-20th

A polite reminder for ALL Oregon facilities:  
  • Per the State of Oregon, Face Masks/Coverings are no longer required in outdoor settings.
  • The State of Oregon, and NAFA, recommend that individuals who are unvaccinated or who are at risk for severe COVID-19 disease continue to wear a mask, face-covering, or face shield when in outdoor crowded areas and in outdoor large gatherings of individuals and maintain physical distancing. 
  • The State of Oregon, and NAFA, recommend that individuals who are unvaccinated; or, who are at risk for severe COVID-19 disease, continue to wear a mask, face covering or face shield when in outdoor crowded areas and in outdoor large gatherings of individuals; or, where individuals cannot maintain 6ft social distance such as the bathrooms; and, maintain physical distancing.
  • New Dugout Policy: The State recommends face masks/coverings be worn in dugouts when 6ft. can’t be maintained.
  • The Coach is responsible to supervise their dugout how they see fit. 
  • Tournament staff and umpires will no longer supervise the dugouts.
  • When your team is finished playing YOU MUST LEAVE THE PARK IMMEDIATELY – including your spectators, - this means no team meetings, no team gatherings or lunch in the common areas or green space at any facility, no ‘hanging out’ in shared/open spaces inside the facility gates.
  • NO congregating allowed in the parking lot.
  • Social Distancing is recommended at all times

Tillamook Jr High June 25-26th:

Coaches and parents please be aware of a traffic issue with a local event and use these alternate directions to get to the fields.

  • Each team can have - Players + Coaches + (1) Scorekeeper + 35 Spectators inside the facility gates
  • Everyone else may sit around the home run fence
Warm-ups:
  • Please check with the TD upon arrival, no more than 60 min. prior to game time.
N Marion Jr. High June 25-26th:
SPECIFIC TO NMarion: ALL COACHES must record; however, they like- a list of all households who attend the N Marion venue, including a headcount from that household and a contact number for the family.

  • Each team can have - Players + Coaches + (1) Scorekeeper + 35 Spectators inside the facility gates
  • Everyone else can sit outside the home run fence
  • ​Teams who have a break in their schedule MUST LEAVE the park until they can return for their warm up time.
Warm-ups:
  • Please check with the TD upon arrival, no more than 60 min. prior to game time.

Vertical Divider
CRATER for June 25-26th:
  • Each team can have - Players + Coaches + (1) Scorekeeper + 35 Spectators inside the facility gates
  • Everyone else can sit outside the home run fence
  • Wristbands will be provided on Saturday; are only given out once, must be used all weekend; can be shared within the same team.
  • DO NOT PARK on any yellow lines or yellow curbs; you could be towed
WARM-UPS:
  • 1st Round teams - may arrive 60 min early and warm-up on their field.
  • CRATER: teams may arrive 60 min early and warm-up on the football field. ​
JAQUITH for June 25-26th:
  • Each team can have - Players + Coaches + (1) Scorekeeper + 35 Spectators inside the facility gates
  • Everyone else can sit outside the home run fence
  • Wristbands will be provided on Saturday; are only given out once, must be used all weekend.
  • There are NO DOGS Allowed at Jaquith.
  • Please respect the neighbors and do not throw or hit balls against their fences, or play boom boxes next to their homes: we will have ZERO tolerance for this.
WARM-UPS:
  • ​Teams may arrive 60 min early, however, check-in with the gate to see where you can warm-up. ​

  • 35 Spectators means inside, spaced 6ft apart and/or around the home run fence
  • Everyone must observe social distancing
Wahanna:
Tournament participants & spectators need to park in the designated parking spots- down the street at the mini-bonus lot, or park up at the hospital.
  • DO NOT PARK ANYWHERE ELSE, it creates a safety/fire code issue
  • DO NOT PARK on the side of the road.
Broadway:
This is a turf field –
  • NO metal cleats
  • NO sunflower seeds
Warm-ups:
  • Wahanna: Outside the fence
  • Broadway: Outside the fence
  • Norway: just find a spot away from other teams, watch for parked cars
KIEZER AT ALL FIELDS June 25-26th:
  • Players + Coaches + Scorekeeper + 35 Spectators inside the gates
  • Others may sit outside the gates, when possible, around the home run fence
  • Everyone must observe social distancing
  • NO DOGS allowed
Warm-ups:
  • Please check with the TD upon arrival, no more than 60 min. prior to game time.
  • Please don it warm or pitch on baseball infield, or softball infield: grass outfield only
Junction City June 25-26th:
  • Each team can have - Players + Coaches + (1) Scorekeeper + 35 Spectators inside the facility gates
  • Everyone else may sit around the home run fence
Warm-ups:
  • Please check with the TD upon arrival, no more than 60 min. prior to game time.


Yamhill Carlton June 25-26th:
  • Each team can have - Players + Coaches + (1) Scorekeeper + 35 Spectators inside the facility gates

Due to the changing metrics in every county, and the adjust to every county's risk level every two weeks by the State of Oregon, we cannot state field capacity numbers, or spectator allowance until the week of play, however, the number can change at any time. We will keep this information updated here, on the home page, every week.  Please check back weekly to be up to date on capacity maximums. ​

​NAFA understands the passion and desire to get back on the fields, however, until there is a vaccine, cure, or treatment found for COVID-19, we strongly recommend that players, coaches and all spectators adhere to the guidelines and safety precautions presented, and recommends that anyone who is considered 'high-risk' stay home.  The information and guidelines are not meant to replace those given, at any time, by the CDC or other governing bodies, nor should they replace any professional medical advice, or opinions. NAFA does not assume any liability or responsibility for the recommendations herein. Further, NAFA does not assume any liability or responsibility for the health or safety, specifically in regards to the contraction of COVID-19 or any medical issues related to the contraction of COVID-19, by any player, coach, spectator or staff who choose to participate in a NAFA event. Members of the community who have been determined by the CDC, or their medical professional, to be ‘high-risk’ should continue to shelter in place and not participate in attending a NAFA event during this time.
